It has been a while (our secretary was out of the office last week, but, she has been playing musical computers before that), but, things are beginning to come together. Our secretary has her own new computer...it may be refurbished, but, it is new to her! (She had a refurbished one before this, but, the screen was not optimal (one could see the pixels...and this was at least a Windows 8 operating system) and when unplugged, it did not retain battery power; it had to be sent back.) She came in and saw attached to this Asus computer a Posiflex cash register and a Star receipt printer. There may be a scanner attached soon so that she has a fully operating Cheers POS system at her personal desk in order to help clients and customers.
Even without the hardware, this is plenty exciting due to being able to download the apps and software she needs sans hesitation; getting the ACTUAL programs she needs instead of the trial versions.
We know, Saint Patrick's (and Saint Joseph's) Day is coming up. This (both of these) mean alcohol! She will try to find some recipes to post in the upcoming days.
She also went to a Standard Distributor's liquor tasting last Tuesday, March 8, 2016 as well as an even over the weekend in Nebraska where she tried new beer. She will hopefully have the time and ability to post reviews of what she has learned later this week.
