Tuesday Before Easter -- MORE Easter Recipes

If all goes well, we will provide you with Easter recipes all this week.

The secretary still does not have a computer of her own since the third computer ordered from a certain online merchant does not have a battery that accepts a charge.  (To be fair, these computers may be re-furbished.)

Anyway, not having her own computer means she is limited in what she can do...especially in helping others since she cannot download/upload necessary programs and apps.

Rest assured -- even though the secretary does not have her own computer, that does not mean the rest of the Cheers POS team is slowed down in any way.  We all are still checking the best options to get this to the most people (we have communicated with different people who are in the liquor store business.  We are doing what we can to help them.).

Changing topics -- this came in the inbox yesterday or today (hard to keep track):  http://www.epicurious.com/recipes-menus/easy-make-ahead-easter-brunch-menu?

Make ahead!!  That's what attracted attention!  Looking through the menu options, though, "Easy," might be a stretch...as in Silly Putty-like.  The ingredients may be a bit upscale...and difficult to obtain.  Viewing the recipes may be a little impractical for some, BUT, still, we encourage all our readers and customers to view and look at these.  We LOVED the idea for the quiche with hash brown crust....but, hope it is adaptable for spinach and mushrooms...or anything else really besides asparagus.  (The recipe calls for Fontina and fresh goat cheese...because we all have that available.)

Our favorite, and we checked out the recipe, was the Coffee Coffee Coffee Cake.  !!  :D  http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/coffee-coffee-coffee-cake-56389466  The only odd thing may be the espresso powder...but, maybe that can be substituted with supermarket brand double mocha cappuccino instant mix.

There is a drink recipe through that first Epicurious address, but, again, it is VERY high-brow

Let us remedy that.  Some more Easter drink recipes:
--http://www.gone-ta-pott.com/Easter-Cocktails---Easter-isn-t-just-about-chocolate.html  The last one of these requires a few days prep time: jelly beans in vodka, otherwise, these seem like good, easy, doable recipes for the great celebration of Easter.
IF it may be...not yet 60 degrees Fahrenheit where you are this Easter (it will not be in this part of Kansas), here are some cold-weather decadent boozy recipes:
--http://damndelicious.net/2013/12/03/kahlua-hot-chocolate/  Because Easter = chocolate.

~Cheers!
